According to the Johns Hopkins University and Worldometers portal, which accumulates data from the websites of the ministries of health and specialized departments of different countries, the total number of deaths from coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic has exceeded 5 million people.
At 12:30 Moscow time, Hopkins University estimates the number of deaths at 5 425 000, and Worldometers - at 5 016 892 people.
As of November 1, the number of registered cases of covid infection in the world reached 246 million 700 thousand 706 people.
