Over the past day, Russian experts have identified 18,140 new cases of COVID-19 infection. The disease was detected in 85 regions of Russia.

The leader in new cases of infection is Moscow, where doctors diagnosed coronavirus in 4,952 people. The capital also took first place in the number of recovered patients - 3,634 people per day.
