In Russia, since the beginning of this year, the cost of drugs from the list of vital and essential drugs (VED) has increased by 1.6%. In fact, this has become below the inflation rate.
Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko told RIA Novosti about the current situation with drug prices. He explained that the cost of vital and essential drugs is regulated, which excludes hikes in the near future.
Recall also that on August 13, the government order on the expansion of the list of vital and essential drugs came into force. The corresponding document, which, in particular, provides for regulation of the cost of medicines for children with severe and chronic diseases, was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on June 10 this year.
