The head of the Office of the Prime Minister of Hungary, Gergely Guiyash, voiced the news that is very unpleasant for the inhabitants of the country.
As of Saturday, July 30, restrictions on the discounted purchase of gasoline have been introduced. Now only private drivers, cabs with Hungarian registration plates and agricultural vehicles can refuel at a reduced price of 480 forints.
For fuel for cars weighing over 7.5 tons, as well as service vehicles, and those who have not been able to prove the right to a discounted fuel price will have to pay the market price.
According to the official version, the measure was introduced because the oil refinery in Sazhalombat stopped for maintenance.
