Turkey bought 25% less coal, oil and gas from Russia in October

As of the end of October the Turkish partners bought 25% less oil, coal and gas from Russia, as reported by the Turkish Institute of Statistics (Turkstat).

According to the journalists of RBK media holding, the total amount of trade turnover of Russian energy resources has also decreased in money equivalent to $3.7 billion.

Experts also noted that the import of goods from Russia has fallen to $5.0 billion, whereas from January to October the amount of transactions amounted to about $50 billion. However coal and hydrocarbons deliveries showed 2.9 times growth if to sum up the results of the year, RBK noted.

Russia has previously mentioned the risks of complications in passing through the Bosporus by Russian ships because of Ankara's requirements to have P&I insurance, which would upset the interests of food recipients because foreign companies do not want to insure agricultural cargo from Russia.
