Retailers reported a rise in prices not only for artificial Christmas trees, but also for real trees. The trend is associated with an increase in purchase prices.
As RBK Group writes with reference to market representatives, prices for artificial desktop Christmas trees range from 49 to 279 rubles. A plastic pine tree, whose height is 2.1 meters, costs about 14.2 thousand rubles, and the price of a four-meter artificial spruce is about 30 thousand rubles.
Commenting on the situation, the representative of the chain "Auchan" said that the purchase price of artificial Christmas trees had increased by 20%. Co-owner of the retailer "Maksidom" Maria Yevnevich also noted that the price increase was 5 to 30%.
The rise in price of the main New Year's symbol is reportedly due to the increase in purchase prices and logistics costs.
