As shown by the results of evening trading, the ruble tended to strengthen: the dollar exchange rate collapsed to 51.8 rubles. Thus, the minimum since May 2015 was updated.
According to the trading data on the Moscow Exchange, the dollar with settlements "tomorrow" at 18:19 Moscow time falls by 1.58 rubles, to the level of 51.89 rubles, the euro loses 1.75 rubles, dropping to 54.55 rubles.
It should be noted that the dollar has previously fallen to 51.6 rubles, the lowest since May 2015, while the European currency has fallen to 54.4 rubles, the lowest since April 2015.
Recall that in mid-June, the head of Sberbank German Gref, analyzing the situation on the market, said that the current ruble exchange rate can be called equilibrium. According to his forecasts, in July the ruble will continue to strengthen, but by the end of 2022 it will fall in the range of 70-75 rubles per dollar.
