In March, Russia will increase export duties on fishery products and fish. The rate will amount to 5.5% of the customs value (4.5% in February). The decision was posted on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, wrote RBC.

The reason for the increase in export duties was taken against the background of the weakening of the ruble. The dollar exchange rate is expected to be above 90 rubles.

Exports of fish products and fish from the Far East to the APR countries were equal to 1.8 million tons in 2023. This is 10% more than in 2022. Products mainly bought Korea and China.
