Bloomberg: US may lose about 25% of LNG exports

For the United States, a situation may arise in which they may lose 24.5% of their exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG). As reported by Bloomberg, this may happen due to problems with terminals.

According to the publication, failures in the terminals were recorded simultaneously at two LNG terminals. The cause of the problem is gas contamination.

It is planned that the level of fuel shipments will decrease until the beginning of November.

Another collapse occurred at the third terminal due to a mechanical failure. The bottom line is that the glitches in question could result in a serious reduction in LNG supplies.

All this is happening against the backdrop of Europe and Asia seeking to maximize purchases in order to increase storage capacity before winter.
