A cosmetics company operating on a direct sales model has changed its mind about selling its business.
In March 2022, Avon announced the suspension of investments in Russia and ceased exports. In early 2023, the company was in the process of selling the plant in Naro-Fominsk (Moscow Region). The intended buyers could be Natura Siberica and Arnest Group of Companies.
However, it has now become known that the corporation has abandoned the plan to leave the Russian Federation. Our country is a stable sales market for the perfume and cosmetics concern, it also has unique production facilities here, Kommersant reported.
Avon Products was founded in 1886 in the United States. It is now owned by Natura & Co (Brazil).
Earlier we reported that in July a Muscovite received in a parcel from Avon leaflets in support of the Ukrainian armed forces.
