The earnings of Russian citizens are increasing in real terms. Moreover, as President Vladimir Putin stated, the year-end results also forecast growth in the real disposable income of the population.
“The average monthly salary started to grow in real terms, thank God. Changes in the real disposable income of the population,” Putin said at a press conference.
According to Federal State Statistics Service, over the past year against the background of the coronavirus pandemic, the decline in real disposable income of the population of the Russian Federation amounted to 2.8%.
But at the same time, as the economy began to recover, the situation in the country began to improve. As a result, during the nine months of 2021, this figure increased by 4.1%.
