The International Monetary Fund is mulling a $16 billion loan to Ukraine.
This is reported by Bloomberg, citing its own sources. It is noted that the allocation of a multi-year loan of $14 to $16 billion is expected, but the amount will be broken down into parts.
However, the success of this venture depends on many components. The allocation of such a loan must be approved by the G7 countries, as well as donors and creditors of Ukraine.
It will also require changes to the IMF's lending terms to implement this plan.
