Saudi Arabia overtakes Russia on oil supplies to China

Brazil took third place. Now Saudi Arabia is actively increasing oil production.

In September Saudi Arabia overtook Russia, its closest competitor, in oil supplies to China. About this is written by Reuters.

For this period, the country supplied almost 7.8 million tons of oil to Chinese partners, while Russia - 7.5 million.

Brazil appeared in the top three - it overtook Iraq. In September, it exported 4.5 million tons of oil to China.

It is noted that since January this year, China has increased hydrocarbon imports by 13%. Thus, imports from Russia grew by a little more than 15%, from Brazil - by 15.6%, from Saudi Arabia - by 6.5%.

The United States almost doubled oil supplies to China compared to August - if at the end of summer they delivered 2.23 million tons, then in September this figure was 3.9 million.
