Potatoes in Belarus turned out to be more expensive than in Russia, Poland and Ukraine

The cost of Belarusian potatoes, according to official statistics, has grown by 60% since the beginning of the year. As a result, this product on the domestic market of the republic turned out to be more expensive than that of its neighbors.

Experts from the Zerkalo edition cite the corresponding calculations. To provide statistics, they studied the prices of potatoes in the delivery services of different countries.

If converted to Russian rubles, then the range of the lowest prices varies from 37.8 rubles to 56.11 rubles per kilogram. It is clarified that we are talking only about local varieties.

So, in one of the Ukrainian delivery services, second-class potatoes can be purchased at a price of three rubles per kilogram, and ordinary - at 23.3 rubles.

In Russia, journalists recorded potatoes in one of the federal chains, the price of which was 37 rubles per kilogram.

In some European countries, prices were also lower, in particular, in Poland (28 rubles), Lithuania (32.5 rubles) and Latvia (37.2 rubles).
