Domestic producers appealed to the Intersectoral Expert Council for Consumer Market Development, explaining that the sharp fall of the ruble has created a situation in which the economy of enterprises has deteriorated.
According to Izvestia, entrepreneurs have begun to complain about the rising price of raw materials and the constant increase in freight transportation tariffs. The point is that suppliers suffer losses from selling goods below cost. For this reason, representatives of enterprises ask to change prices more often for importers and for domestic manufacturers.
In particular, it is proposed to reduce the period of revision of price tags to two weeks. The corresponding initiative is contained in the letter of Rusprodsoyuz addressed to the Intersectoral Expert Council for Consumer Market Development (MEC).
The message contains arguments of the Ministry of Agriculture, which claims that producer prices are currently lower than a year ago. In addition, the key rate has also increased, that is, loans have risen in price.
Earlier, Russians were warned about the upcoming two-stage increase in prices for products from the food basket.
