Market participants owe Ukrenergo for electricity transmission and system dispatching.
The total debt on the electricity market in Ukraine has reached almost 60bn hryvnyas (over 1.6bn dollars). This was reported by the head of the national energy company Ukrenerho, Volodymyr Kudrytskyy. His words are quoted by the press service of Ukrenergo.
According to him, market participants owed for the dispatching of the system and transmission of electricity.
The National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the spheres of public utilities and energy (NKREKU), handed over calculations regarding tariffs for light in 2024.
Kudrytskyy said that the decision of the NKREKU is expected by the end of the year, which will help maintain liquidity and balance the financial situation in the company.
Earlier, the Director General of the energy company YASNO DTEK Sergey Kovalenko said that the debt for electricity consumption in Ukraine will amount to 67.5 million dollars.
