Riyadh and Abu Dhabi plan to invest in the private space company SpaceX, which is owned by billionaire Ilon Musk, reports the Information, citing sources.

On Tuesday, Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that the U.S. administration is concerned about the growing influence of Ilon Musk, who controls companies in critical industries for the United States. The White House is discussing the possibility of a forced separation of his assets.

Officials believe that the businessman may be susceptible to "foreign manipulation," and funding from Middle Eastern countries to acquire Twitter could become a reason to block the deal by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. on national security grounds.
