Economists have started talking about the possibility of New Year payments, who talk about a significant budget surplus this year.
Nothing is known about the exact amount at the moment, but analysts say it will be in the range of 5,000 to 15,000 rubles.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the level of the federal budget surplus of Russia for the period from January to September this year is already about 1 trillion 443 billion rubles.
As karelinform.ru reports with reference to economist Andrei Loboda, it is likely that Russian President Vladimir Putin may announce a New Year payment in December 2021.
Such support, the expert emphasized, will give people the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with dignity, and, if necessary, close the debts of the outgoing year.
