It will be the first largest production facility in the country.
Tyva intends to build the first largest in the republic production facility for primary processing of hides of large and small cattle. The regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food plans to allocate about 50 million rubles for this purpose.
The processed raw materials will be sent to enterprises that are engaged in the production of shoes, clothes, bags, furniture.
"The volume of processing will amount up to 252 thousand hides of small horned cattle and 40 thousand hides of cattle per year. <...> It is planned to realize 20% of the produced products within the region, and 80% - to send to the foreign market - to the Republic of Khakassia, Altai and Krasnoyarsk region, as well as to export to Mongolia", - said the Ministry.
Recall, Tyva is one of Russia's leaders in cattle breeding. Now in the republic there are more than 1.5 million cattle, both small and large, and therefore there is a problem of utilization, sale and unclaimed skins of farm animals.
It is planned to establish a complex technological production facility for primary processing of hides in Tyva as early as this year.
