At the beginning of the week the price of October gas futures on the London Stock Exchange ICE fell below $ 1900 dollars per thousand cubic meters.
As noted, the last time fuel prices were at this level was July 26. In particular, by 9:30 Moscow time, gas trading was around $1,867 per thousand cubic meters. This is almost 5% below the closing level of the stock exchange on Friday. At its lowest point, the price was down to $1,856.
The cost of gas in Europe has been falling in recent weeks. This is due to the advance in the schedule for filling the underground storage facilities and concrete plans announced by European officials for the upcoming winter period.
