In some subjects the median salary is higher than the average Russian level. In eight regions after deducting personal income tax it amounted to more than Br80 thousand, in another two - Br70-80 thousand.

According to the study, high salaries are paid in large federal cities and in the north. But prices there are higher than the national average. They “eat up” part of the income.
