Google's Russian subsidiary Google LLC was recognized bankrupt by the Moscow Arbitration Court.
Bankruptcy proceedings have been opened. Valery Talyarovsky from the SRO of arbitration managers "Interregional Center of Experts and Professional Managers" was appointed as the bankruptcy trustee
The initial bankruptcy procedure was introduced in November last year by the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal at the request of the company.
As of the end of August, the creditors' register included voting claims amounting to about 20.2 billion rubles. The main voting creditor of the company is the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, its claims amount to about 19.6 billion rubles. As of October 18, according to Talyarovsky, the amount of claims included in the register of creditors is Br53.6 billion.
The largest creditor of Google LLC is the Tsargrad media holding. The amount of the claim is 32.8 billion rubles. But the media holding does not participate in voting at the meeting of creditors and it is included in the register with a reduced priority.
On October 16, the Google service had a malfunction with the exchange rate, as a result of which the dollar exchange rate fell sharply from 98.10 rubles to 62.62 rubles.
