The trade turnover between China and Ukraine in January-June 2023 decreased by 31.2 percent year-on-year. A report by the General Administration of Customs of China said that the total trade volume amounted to 3.84bn dollars.
In particular, China exported goods worth 1.17bn dollars to Ukraine in the first six months of this year, which is 45.9% less than in the same period last year. At the same time, Ukraine supplied goods to China worth 2.67 billion dollars, which amounted to a 21.8% year-on-year decrease in volume.
In June, trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $663.304 billion. China's exports to Ukraine during the period amounted to 232.881 million dollars, while Ukraine imported goods from China worth 430.423 million dollars.
As a result of the trade, the trade turnover between Ukraine and China reached $19.29 billion in 2021, while in 2022 the figure dropped to $7.65 billion.
