Mikhail Zeltser, PhD in Economics and stock market expert of “BKS World of Investments”, predicted the dollar rate for the next week from May 20 to 26.
In a conversation with “Gazeta.Ru,” the expert said that the currency would cost about Br90 in these seven days. Mikhail Zeltser believes that it is simply strange to talk about the devaluation of the ruble now, for which he highlighted several reasons:
“The actual factors of the national currency strength are in place. The tight policy of the Central Bank restrains the demand for foreign currency for imports, and because of the norms for the return of Russian exporters' proceeds, the total supply of currency on the market is increasing,” the economist emphasized.
In addition, Seltzer suggested that the ruble will not fall due to the weakness of the dollar in the global arena against other currencies.
Earlier in the State Duma began discussing several bills on the regulation of marketplaces. One of the initiatives suggests applying to them requirements comparable to those for ordinary stores.
