Inflation in the country for the period from January 10 to 15 this year amounted to 0.13%.
In Russia, annual inflation slowed to 7.4% in the period from January 10 to 15. A week earlier, its level was 7.44%. The review was prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development of the country.
In the food sector, price growth slowed to 0.24%. The growth rate for fruits and vegetables decreased to 1.64%, while for other products - to 0.06%.
In non-food products the inflation rate equaled 0.12%. In the services sector, price growth amounted to 0.04%. The cost of air tickets for domestic flights continued to decline.
The Ministry of Economic Development gives a forecast that the inflation rate in Russia this year will amount to 4.5%. Last year the figure was 7.42%.
