Germany's natural gas storage facilities are rapidly emptying and are currently less than 60 percent full. In fact, this has become a «historically low level» compared to previous years.
Sebastian Bleschke, Executive Director of the German Underground Gas Storage Association, told Handelsblatt that Germany's natural gas stocks were already below 60 percent.
Bleschke added that at around 59 percent, storage levels are already high. This, he said, was a "historically low level" compared to earlier years.
"... If the withdrawal of gas from storages will be the same as it is now, the level of their occupancy will become very low in February", - summed up the expert.
