In physical terms, Russia's gold reserves increased to 34.6 tons and reached 2,350 tons.
At the same time, the share of gold in reserves rose to 26% in December, while in November it was 25.6%. The Central Bank said that the December value became the maximum since March 2000.
For the first time since September last year there was an increase in gold reserves of the Russian Federation in physical terms. According to the results of the first autumn month, the country increased its reserves to 2,360 tons. Thanks to this, Russia remained in fifth place among countries with large gold reserves.
