In August, Japan increased the volume of imports of Russian discounted natural gas (LNG) by 211.2% compared to the previous year. This was reported by the Japanese Ministry of Finance.
Statistics on the increase in LNG imports were presented by the Japanese Ministry of Finance. At the same time, as noted, oil imports over the same period decreased by 20.3%.
As for Russian coal imports, during August the volume of supply decreased by 32.6% compared to the same period last year. But ore imports, on the contrary, increased during the reporting period by 44.9%.
Also, according to the ministry, Japan increased imports of vegetables from Russia by 154%, but reduced imports of cereals and soybeans by 94-95%.
