The fact is that in the Russian Federation not everyone's wages are tied to the level of the minimum wage.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that the minimum wage (MROT) will be tied to the median wage. However, as lawyer Olga Pleshanova noted in an interview for FederalPress, such a measure will have an insignificant impact on wages.
According to the specialist, the changes will be noticeable only for those whose salaries directly depend on the minimum wage. However, the majority of the population of Russia's wages are not tied to the minimum wage, so the increase in its size will not have a significant impact on their incomes.
Earlier it became known that Putin expressed confidence that by 2025 the minimum wage will exceed 22 thousand rubles per month, and by 2030 will reach a mark of at least 35 thousand rubles.
