Coffee prices are expected to rise in Russia in the coming months, said Alexander Strelnikov, founder of RusTransChina, a Russian-Chinese transportation company.
According to forecasts, prices for all types of coffee will increase by 15-25%. Especially significant price increases are expected in the segment of budget varieties and instant coffee. At the same time, expensive varieties of coffee will also rise in price, but their producers will try to restrain the growth in order not to lose customers, Izvestia reports.
Strelnikov added that Vietnam accounts for about 1/3 of the world supply of Robusta beans, but a poor harvest is expected. Robusta is a popular variety of coffee, which is used to produce various types of coffee: instant, bagged and coffee blends.
Recall that the volume of loans of Russian citizens for the first time exceeded Br36 trillion. Infrastructure spending in Russian regions fell by 22%.
