Novaya Moda JSC (formerly Zara CIS JSC), which opened Vilet, Ecru, Dub, Maag stores in place of Zara and Bershka of Spanish Inditex group in Russia, started to recover sales in 2023. But the company ended the year with a loss of 5.4 billion rubles, RBC wrote .

Spanish group Inditex (Pull & Bear and Stradivarius brands, Bershka, Zara) suspended stores in Russia after the start of the SWO. The business in Russia was then sold to Daher Group. Zara CIS JSC was renamed Novaya Moda. Its revenue that year amounted to 21 billion rubles, more than twice as much as in 2022.

But the total revenue of Novaya Moda is lower than that of Zara CIS in 2021 (57.2 billion rubles). The company also increased expenses in the year of relaunch - up to 25.6 billion rubles from 13.8 billion. Thus, the net loss amounted to 5.4 billion rubles. Novaya Moda had 243 stores in the Russian Federation at the end of last year. This is only half of what Inditex had in Russia. Deliveries are partly made from factories where goods were made for the original Inditex, but other collections are being developed for the Russian Federation.

In 2024-2025, the company plans to make a profit by expanding its business, increasing sales and revenue in stores, entering new online stores and finding potential wholesale buyers.

Marina Malakhatko, head of the retail department at CORE.XP, said that Novaya Moda has no plans to open new outlets. But it has stabilized the assortment and supplies in stores. The expert predicted the company's revenue growth at the end of the current year.
