Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to increase the government's reserve fund. The amount specified in the document is 120.9 billion rubles.
"The Ministry of Finance of Russia to introduce in due course in the indicators of consolidated budget estimates of the federal budget for 2021 amendments providing for increase of reserve fund of the government of the Russian Federation by 120921412 thousand rubles," - quotes the "Kommersant" decree.
The publication cites the document as saying that the increase in the government fund is made at the expense of the federal budget balances, which were not used in 2020.
Reportedly, in the past the government allocated 4.06 trillion rubles from the reserve fund. As estimated by experts at the Audit Chamber, 2.86 trillion rubles were allocated to fight the coronavirus pandemic. Overall, the reserve fund increased by 4.46 trillion rubles to 4.47 trillion rubles.
