Just for a month by a record 18.7% increased the number of unpaid obligations compared to August, when there were 36.9 thousand overdue loans. Experts of company "Scoring Bureau" estimated that the amount of delinquency up to 30 days has increased by 12.9%, reaching 569.1 million rubles in absolute terms, reports RBC.

Also in September 94.9 thousand contracts for the POS financing were missed or delayed, which is 21.5% more than in August this year. Higher rates this year were only in February (+33.1%) and May (+50.5%). In absolute terms, the amount of arrears in September amounted to 332.4 million rubles.

Holders of 878.8 thousand credit cards in September increased the delinquency by 9.5% as compared to August, the total amount of debt is 4.2 billion rubles.

In this case problem loans on mortgages increased by 8.9%, but the amount decreased by 14.2%.

Experts attribute the surge in delinquencies to a "dramatic change in the lifestyle" of borrowers due to partial mobilization, including the fact that many men went abroad, where they were unable to find or resume remote work, and there may be technical difficulties with loan servicing from abroad.
