Revenues from Russian oil exports fell by 40% in January-August

During this period, energy prices fell greatly. The physical volume of exports also decreased.

Russian oil export revenues in the first eight months of this year decreased by almost 40% compared to the same period last year. This is official data from the Federal Customs Service.

Revenue amounted to almost $49 billion.

As for the volume of hydrocarbon supplies, it fell in annual terms in August by a third and by almost 15% compared to July and amounted to a little more than 15.5 million tons.

The physical volume for the entire designated period - from January to August - fell by almost 10% and amounted to about 160 million tons.

We remind that in the spring of this year the price of Brent crude oil fell by almost half. In May, an updated OPEC+ deal began to operate - its goal is to ensure stability in the global energy market.
