Wine production in Russia increased by 45.9%

Production of Russian wine in January has increased nearly one and a half times: up to 45.9%, to 1.6 million dal, compared to the same period in 2022. This was reported by the Russian Federal Service for Alcoholic Regulation.

As reported, the volume of champagne production increased significantly: by 35.9%, to 827.5 thousand dal. Production of wines and spirits without ethyl alcohol increased by 2.8% to 213.3 thousand dal, and liqueur wines - by 90.1%.

In total, during January 2023 the volume of production of Russian alcoholic beverages (not including beer, beer drinks, cider, poire and mead) has increased by 14.1% to 12.03 million dal.

At the same time, the production of vodka decreased by 3.5%. But the production of cognac increased by 8%.
