Bloomberg says record Russian oil shipments by sea since June

Russia's average daily oil exports by sea over the past four weeks rose by 125,000 barrels to 3.465 million barrels on Feb. 3. The figure was the highest since June 2022, Bloomberg reported.

At the same time, according to the agency, the volume of supplies through the pipeline to Europe, to Poland and Germany, decreased to about 120 thousand barrels daily in January compared to last summer, when it was 510 thousand barrels.

Nevertheless, in spite of the growth in the volume of marine supplies, the Russian budget revenues from oil sales are on the decline. This tendency is explained by the growing discount for the Russian Urals, which arose due to the introduction of the Western price ceiling and the embargo on the sea supplies to Europe.

To date, China, India and Turkey are the main buyers of oil from Russia. According to Bloomberg, the volume of deliveries to these countries may reach 3.29 million barrels per day.
