The Mayor's Office discussed the budget of Novosibirsk for 2022, it will amount to a record 60 billion rubles.
According to Mayor Anatoly Lokot, this is the first time the city's budget will exceed the 60 billion mark. About 6-7 years ago it seemed difficult to reach the 50 billion mark, said the mayor.
It is specified that revenues of Novosibirsk amounted to about 30 billion rubles, which is much more than a year ago.
According to the authorities, the emphasis will be made on social sphere, including education.
In addition, more than a billion rubles are planned to be directed from the fund for assistance to reforming housing and communal services for the overhaul of residential buildings. Also, the authorities intend to work on street lighting, roads, and water supply.
