Peskov: there is no crisis in Russia’s economy

Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on the current situation in the country's economy. There are no reasons for concern.

"There are no crisis phenomena in the current situation in Russia. There is no reason to worry. We have a need for rhythmic and systematic work, which the government and the regulator are doing right now," Dmitry Peskov said answering a similar question from journalists.

The Kremlin spokesman stressed that capital outflows and inflows occur depending on the international situation. "There is a constant outflow or inflow of investors, this curve changes all the time. In this case, there is also no cause for concern," Dmitry Peskov added.

The dollar exchange rate in Russia rose to 77 rubles for the first time since November 16, 2020. The euro rose to 91.28 roubles.
