Ticket prices may increase due to higher aircraft rental rates.
The state transportation leasing company began renegotiating contracts with Russian airlines.
It is increasing the rate of aircraft leasing. The amount of fees will increase by 30%. It will affect Aeroflot, S7 Airlines and Yamal. The adjustment will affect contracts on 37 foreign airliners, which belong to GTLC.
In connection with this the carriers will have to index prices for air tickets.
Most of the planes on this list are operated by Aeroflot - 18 aircraft not counting two Indonesian Boeing 737. Aeroflot intends to add these airliners to its fleet.
Last year GTLK reported a record loss of 55.8 billion rubles because of the Western sanctions and the loss of some planes abroad. 37 aircraft of the company remained abroad and the majority of them were not accessible for the GTLC specialists to check their technical condition and maintenance.
According to Sergey Grishunin, the Managing Director of the Rating Service of the National Rating Agency, there will be no comparable growth of prices (by 30%) for air tickets, but the rates may go up by 5-7% for the year.
