Forbes named the richest Russian businessman for 2023

The 57-year-old billionaire's fortune rose 113% in a year to $3.2 billion.

Sergei Studennikov, founder of the Krasnoe & Beloe chain of stores, has become the richest businessman in Russia over the year. This was reported by Forbes with reference to the annual rating of the wealthiest people.

The 57-year-old billionaire's fortune is estimated at 3.2 billion dollars. The growth amounted to 113%. The owner of the retail chain is also the only one of the Russians who was able to double the capital.

The second in the list of billionaires who have increased their fortune is the ex-owner of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) and Sinara Group, Dmitry Pumpyansky. He has become richer by 94%, his fortune is estimated at $3.3 billion.

Sergey Sudarikov, the principal owner of the Region investment group, is in third place. His capital is equal to $1.8 billion (+80%). 64 billionaires of Russia increased their fortune over the year. They total got rich by 68.5 billion dollars.

Earlier it was written that the richest Russian in the Forbes list for the first time became co-owner of the oil company "Lukoil" Vagit Alekperov. His fortune is equal to 28.6 billion dollars. The Forbes list includes 125 Russian businessmen.

It was also written that Lev Leshchenko earned on his business 20 million rubles. The singer is the founder of the company "Domodedovo Engineering Center". Leshchenko owns 50% of the business.
