Over the past year, salary offers in Russia have grown by an average of 18.5%, according to Elena Artemyeva, director of analytics and Data Science at Raboty.ru.
According to the expert to Izvestia, the largest increase in salaries is observed in the sphere of beauty and health, where it reaches 27%.
The increase in offers is also noticeable in vacancies for job seekers without work experience and in offers for internships and work for students, where the growth amounted to 23%. The service sector is also not lagging behind, with a 21% increase in offers.
The average nominal salary last year, according to Rosstat, amounted to 73,709 rubles, which is 14% higher than in 2022.
In his address to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced plans to increase wages, including by increasing the minimum wage. According to him, by 2030 the minimum wage should almost double to 35 thousand rubles, which will affect the amount of social benefits and wages in various sectors of the economy.
However, according to the head of state, the lack of qualified personnel may lead to a slowdown in economic growth. Therefore, it is planned to train about one million specialists of working professions for high-tech industries by 2028.
Experts note that the main reason for the increase in salary proposals was the growth of the minimum wage from the beginning of 2024. This is also due to competition for personnel in the labor market, where companies are actively fighting to attract and retain qualified employees.
Representatives of various educational institutions and experts note the importance of training professionals for specific tasks in business, which will be one of the tasks of the national project "Personnel". They also emphasize that the growth of salaries in the service sector is associated with an increase in domestic investment and stimulates the growing demand for specialists in the relevant professions.
