The government submitted a draft law to the State Duma, which refers to a set of socio-economic measures aimed at supporting Russians and businesses under sanctions.
According to Izvestia, documents of the corresponding content appeared in the Duma electronic database on Thursday, March 3.
It is clarified that the purpose of developing a draft federal law is to protect the national interests of Russia due to unfriendly actions on the part of foreign countries and international organizations.
“The preparation of the bill is due to the need to implement a set of measures of a socio-economic nature in relation to citizens of the Russian Federation and Russian legal entities,” the publication quotes an explanatory note from one of the documents.
