April 1 was determined to be the implementation day for a multitude of legal and regulatory documents.
On April 1, several new regulations are introduced in the country. One of the main ones is the indexation of pensions. The innovation will affect social pensions - they will be indexed by 7.5%. Note that such pensions are received by those citizens who do not have sufficient length of service.
Indexed will be payments, which are accrued on old age (social pensions are appointed from 65 and 70 years of age for women and men, respectively), disability and in connection with the loss of the breadwinner. In total, the innovation will affect more than four million people.
The indexation of pensions will affect the military and members of their families, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and blockade runners. The federal budget has allocated 37.5 billion rubles for these purposes. The size of the social pension is equal to 7,733.34 RUB.
