This is a record net profit for Sberbank in its history. Return on equity was 25.3%. Sberbank has 108.5 million clients among individuals and 3.3 million among legal entities.
Last year it issued 28.7 trillion rubles in loans. The loan portfolio grew by 27% to RUB 39.4 trillion. They attracted Br22.9 trillion of private customers, said Sberbank head Herman Gref.
