Audi plans to produce an SUV that will compete with the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and Land Rover Defender.
The car will be electric and will be released in 2027. There is very little information about the car at the moment. Audi probably does not have a specific design yet, but it is known that the car will be built on the VW Group platform.
It was meant to run across all VW Group brands as a replacement for the MEB, but it has been delayed until 2028, so Audi will turn to its nascent sister brand Scout.
Given the performance of its competitors, Audi's flagship should not only be premium, but also powerful and have good off-road capabilities.
