The Russian plant Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus will suspend work for nine days.
According to Gazeta.Ru, the plant producing Hyundai and KIA will be idle from October 30 to November 7. These days were declared non-working to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus is not going to adjust its production plan. It amounts to 230 thousand vehicles for 2021.
In 2020, the plant produced more than 219 thousand cars. From January to September 2021, 178.3 thousand cars rolled off the assembly line, which is 20% more than the same indicator of the last year.
The company's indicators approached the pre-pandemic level of 2019.
