According to the new resolution of the State Automobile Inspection Service, which will come into force on April 1 in Russia, changes will be introduced in the process of registration and issuance of driver's licenses to citizens.
According to these changes, driver candidates are now required to provide an SNILS when taking exams and obtaining a driving license at the GIBDD.
However, foreigners, employees of diplomatic and consular departments and their family members are an exception to this rule. In the case of the candidate's lack of a driver's license document, the traffic police will request the necessary data independently, specifies radio "Komsomolskaya Pravda" with reference to the TV channel "360".
