A new generation of the premium Chinese minivan GAC M8 appears on the Russian car market. This car will be available for purchase in Russia with a single gasoline engine, but is offered in four different configurations: GL, GT, GX and GX Premium. Prices for the novelty vary from 5.5 to 6.5 million rubles.
This is the second generation of the model, which was launched on the Chinese market back in 2022. Russian buyers will have access to the most advanced version, the Master Edition, but without hybrid options. The only available engine will be a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo motor with 231 horsepower, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
In terms of dimensions, the new GAC M8 measures 5,212 mm in length, 1,893 mm in width and 1,823 mm in height. It features a two-piece panoramic roof, solid taillights and a bold design emphasized by a huge grille called "Lion Awakening".
The interior of the new GAC M8 seats seven and features second-row captain's chairs with individual touchscreen control panels, power ottomans and a host of comfort options such as ventilation, massage and heating. There are also various connectors for charging gadgets.
Among the technological features of the novelty is a modern multimedia complex with a diagonal of 14.6 inches and Yamaha sound system with 16 speakers. And in winter time the owners of the car will need heated seats and steering wheel, installed at the factory.
