Now the owner will not need to be personally present when transporting a car from Japan.
Already from November 1, 2022 a simplified procedure for importation of right-hand cars from Japan will come into effect in Russia. According to the order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, now the owner of such a car will not need to be personally present during the processing of documents during transportation from Japan.
So far such an obligation exists for the imported vehicle through the Vladivostok customs.
Experts hope that this innovation will greatly saturate the domestic market with high-quality foreign-made cars.
Recall that earlier edition of "News of Transport" reported that in the seven months of 2022 from Vladivostok to Russia entered 78,460 cars, which is 33% more than during the same period in 2021.
