Following the departure of major auto giants from Russia, new places are increasingly being replaced by the PRC.
Chinese automaker Chery has shown its variant of a business sedan to replace the Japanese and Korean Arrizo 8 models. It was first presented at home in summer, and in Russia the novelty is likely to come in late winter - early spring.
The company has not yet shown a price tag for the domestic market, but judging by the fact that at home it sells for about the price of the crossover Tiggo 4 Pro, which we now have on sale for 2.5 million, the same price can be expected for the Arrizo 8.
At that, the Arrizo is shorter than the Camry by about 10 cm. As for the engine, if the Japanese brand had the atmospheric engines, including legendary 3.5 V6, the "business" from "Cherie" is equipped only with turbo engines - 1,5 or 1,6 liters (156 and 197 hp).
